Just to let everyone know that we sent 200 calendars,
Sloppy Holes stickers and the DIRTY GIRL baseball cards over to
a group of soldiers in Iraq. We know that the moral over there is down with the troops
that have been there for over 4 years. So we are sending a little peice of home to cheer them up.
Dirty Girls and 4x4's is what it's all about!!!
Hopefully every tank/ helicopter in Iraq will be riding around with a Sloppy Holes sticker on the back.

our USA TROOPS that are sacrificing so much for what we stand for.

Here is the e-mail reply we got from sending the calendars to Iraq, I also enclosed a picture that my daughter drew, of a rainbow because he had mentioned that he has only seen one rainbow over there since he has been there.
 The reply was sent on Friday, October 3rd, 2008.

"Everything has arrived here and thank you so very much.  I have the picture from RyAnn hanging by my desk and it is nice to have a rainbow here in Iraq.  Thank you!  So far the calendars and cards have been a hit.  I have given some out to our
"S-shops" (the paperwork side) and am heading out to the maintenance side of the house later on this shift to give out the remainder.  I am sure that you will start seeing more hits on your website soon!  We are definitely trying to get out of the mid-deployment rut.  We are actually going to hopefully be home in time for Thanksgiving so people are starting to wake to the fact that the end of the deployment is starting to get close.  We appreciate the help you all give so freely and thank you for letting us know that we are in people's minds."
